I have a couple questions for the gurus out there.

1) What do you think of this card in terms of relative performance and O.C. ability:

2) Is galaxy a good/reputable gpu brand?

3) Can that card, paired with an i5-2500k and 8gb of RAM play BF3 at highest settings? (Ignore the DICE tweet about needing 2 580's to play at ultra, DICE seriously underestimates GPU's)

Thanks!

1) Can't find any product on the link you gave there.

2) Galaxy is a good GPU brand and have been around for quite a few years, I have used them and it was good.

3) Not sure on what card it is

It's a Galaxy GTX 560 TI. I fixed the link:

Perfomance in BF3: decent IMO (28 fps at 1920*1200, 40 fps at 1600*1200, 52 fps at 1280*1024). Useless at 2560x1600 (11fps)

Be careful, the card at tigerdirect is the version with 384 "cores", not the version with 448 "cores" described in that review. For example in the chart I linked to, the card at tigerdirect will get 28 fps at 1920x1200, the "560 TI 448 cores" will get 34 and the GTX 570 will get 37)

If you're planning to play at 1920*1200 (or 1920*1080), I suggest you spend an extra $60 and get the eVGA GTX 570. According to the review it will give you 37 fps instead of 28. Plus I like eVGA more :)

The i5-2500K and 8GB of RAM should be all right.

In that case, if overclocked will perform at GTX 570 levels and is capable of running BF3 on near-ultra settings without a problem.
