Question is hwmonitor accurate?

wanted to check the overclock temps of my cpu that I did back in 2018 so i updated hwmonitor to the latest version, my overclock was set to 4.8ghz all core and 1.25v but hwmonitor is showing very different numbers. hwmonitor says core 0 hit 5.8, core 1 hit 5.2 and core 6 hit 4.9 at 1.275v with max temps at 60c.

Out of curiousity, try running HWInfo. I find it to be quite accurate

Yep. If this is accurate, I'm running a supercomputer on my desktop. 25.4GHz Single Core? Check out the GPU 3d and Copy numbers too! What a joke!

Ah, HWMon used to be pretty good. However recently they don't update it much for newer CPU's, and I find the telmetry all over the place.

HWInfo is they way to go.
