[SOLVED] Is idle temps of 40c on an i7 9700k with an H100i pro normal?

So I just built a new PC with an i7 9700k w/ an H100i pro for cooling, and while idle (with only corsair link and chrome opened) I'm getting between 40c to 50c for the CPU package temp. When I switch the AIO from quiet mode to extreme it goes down to between 34c to 42c. (I'm not that worried about noise, as I have a loud AC unit in the my room my PC is in anyways) I'm assuming this means my cooler is working properly if changing the RPM takes the temps down that much. Is this normal for this CPU? I've heard the 9700k runs a little hot even while idle but I just want to make sure.

EDIT: I should also say, that while playing Escape from Tarkov, which is a pretty CPU demanding game, the temp stays in the 49c-65c range. I've never seen it go above 75c even for a second (my rgb fans are set to turn red when that happens). It's honestly hard to get a temp while gaming because the second I minimize the game to look at Corsair Link it drops down to 40c.

Everything seems normal. No worries. Game on!
Thanks! Just wanted to be sure as this is my first nicer build, so it's the first time I've even paid attention to temps. My last build was super budget and I really didn't know what I was doing when I built it (I didn't even apply thermal paste or motherboard standoffs! lol).

Last question though, when I'm playing games like Battlefield for some reason my CPU usage hits 100% with my GPU usage at around 60-70% (I have a gtx 1070 ti). Part of the reason I got the 9700k was because I wanted to get the most out of my 1070 ti as it was severely bottlenecked in my last build. I feel like if anything, my 9700k should be bottlenecked in this build. Any idea what might be going on here? BTW if you want me to make a new thread for this question just let me know, I'm new to these forums. Thanks again!

BF (assuming BF 1) is a CPU intensive game. What resolution are you gaming at?

A new thread in PC Gaming might get you some assistance optimizing your settings.
I'm at 1080p 144hz for now, I should say that my FPS is between 90-130 which is pretty good. Main reason I don't upgrade to 1440p is because I like the higher frame rates. Maybe I'm just being too OCD about the usage rates.

And okay will do!
