Is intel pentium g3220 any good for gaming?

I really can't afford more than that,but will it be enough for 1-2 year on newest games aand multiplayer like planetside 2,bf4,dayz.Paired with hd7770..

It's not very good, but it would be ok for a beginner build that could be upgraded later. I wouldn't want to be stuck with it for a year or two though.

if you can take a look on newegg dyi computers. look at amd and intel builds that are in your price range. as your on a small fixed build funds. I would look into a fm2 plus mb and amd new apu that dropping on jan 14. you might pay a little more for the apu chip but it be four core unit and have higher end gpu then the 7770. it also let you latter put in a better gpu for crossfire.

for casual gaming and some low-med gaming, you should be fine. but just dont expect much, esp with games like bf4

How about athlon x4 740(non OC) ? It has 2 cores more but g3220 has more powerful single core

the amd cpu not bad for gaming but has no video built into it.. so you have to buy a video card. if you go with amd lok at there newer apu that dropping jan 14.
