Is it dangerous to go from stock GPU speeds to a large boost to the core and memory clock?

Prepare for a potentially silly question.

Okay, say my GPU runs perfectly fine with +200 to the core clock and +300 to the memory clock when I overclock it. Say I reset everything to stock speeds and one day I decide to use the same overclocked settings. Is it dangerous if I immediately set the clocks to +200 and +300 right away on MSI afterburner? Or do I need to slowly raise the clocks if I want to overclock it again? Just wondering. Thank you.

it is safe it will either work or not. it is not a sword that will shatter if improperly tempered.
change the setting, test the setting, rinse, repeat.
1 setting at a time makes it easier to figure out if anything stuffs up.

where the danger begins is the voltage settings. clockspeed no problem.

Yeah, I don't go near the voltages.

Thank you for your answer :)

Solves that.
