Question Is it fine if my cpu doesn't support the speed of the RAM?

I currently have the i7-12700kf and recently found out that it only supports up to 4800 MHz, I was planning to get the G.Skill Trident Z5 Neo RGB 32 GB (2x16) and that it has a speed of 6000 MHz. Will this cause problems?

the RAM speed specs included with CPU information is just a basic performance spec.
it has been reported like this since way back, for some reason.

as long as you have a board that supports the RAM kit it will run at it's manufacturer rated speeds with it's XMP profile enabled or manually input.

Generally, yes. Why? Because the RAM has settings built-in for slower speeds. The advertised speed it the maximum. Your question is similar to "Is it OK if I only drive 65MPH when the speed limit is 70MPH""?
