Hi,

I have a problem. When im playing game my computer restarts. I have readed some other forums... and i think its psu. I have 600w psu and only my gpu needs 550w (nvidia geforce gtx 470). My cpu is i5 and i have 8gb RAM. This is now happening about half a year. Please answer me. Thank for your help.

I moved my computer on more open space and fur mark was running al ot more time. But still when GPU gets to 92 celsius it restarts.

Does your case provide adequate airflow? You have at least one intake and one exhaust fan?

It should provide good airflow. Is your GPU still under warranty?

Stress test is best to make sure it works, but you could use both as none should fail. A stress test should be run for at least 10 to 15 minutes without causing system reboots, artifacts, etc.

And then it gets too hot and the system reboots? If so, then you need to fix the cooling issue (or have it fixed by a shop that you trust).

The fault was room temperature. I opened my window and Furmark was running for +20 minutes and then i turned it of.

I downloaded msi afterburner and I didnt change anything exept fan speed. MY FANS WERENT even on 30 per cenet. When i set it 100% i tought it will blow me of my chair. Anyway can this damage my fans?

Fans are designed to be used up to their maximum speed; running them faster will prevent your system from rebooting because the GPU is too hot.

It means that you'll be able to play games without issues and you didn't even have to buy a new PSU.
