Is it my PSU

So my computer is shutting off randomly when playing games. The processor isn't anything too special. It's an AMD A10 7080K. My GPU is a GTX 960 GeForce. I lightly upgraded my PSU from a stock 500 to a 650 hoping that would solve the issue and it does not. I then installed a H80i GT corsair water cooler thinking it might be a heating issue. Now I'm realizing the my surge protector kicks off when the PC randomly turns off. Is it my PSU and of so, what size do I need?

Solution
62A * 12V = 744W. No way your "650W" PSU is putting out 62A.

I agree on the surge protector. It's the common thing that hasn't changed. Remove it, is the problem fixed?

This issue started with the stock 500 watt PSU so I immediately replaced it with a brand new 650 watt PSU and the issue is still happening. I doubt it would be an internal issue in the new PSU. Maybe the processor and graphics card need more wattage than 650?

If I'm looking at the correct number, it says 62A

Or you can just say the name of the power supply.

oh boy, where can I get a psu like that.

and I agree, replace your surge protector, Don't use one, if anything the safest is to buy a battery backup. A surge protector stops small surges of a few hundreds of volts. But any real surge like lightning or a nearby powerline surge, thats going to be in the thousands to tens of thousands of volts.
