[SOLVED] Is it ok to just replace my gtx 150ti with a gtx 1660ti?

What is full system spec including make and model of your PSU?

1050Ti uses around 60-70W under heavy load. 1660Ti uses around 120-130W.

If you have a decent 550W PSU it's probably OK; but to say for sure we need to know what else you're running with what PSU.

The rest of the system is still a mystery to us but yes that can most probably manage. Not among the best PSUs in the 550W range but it's OK.

Just to clarify and make sure is it CX 550 or CX 550M?

How old is the PSU? Is it the model with black and grey/silver label/sticker or black and green?

CX550 is good enough to handle a GTX 1660 Ti. But as mentioned before what are the rest of your system specs?

You can put larger card in there too. Just measure gpu clearance in your pc enclosure.

That's a laptop. Graphics cards on laptops generally are not upgradeable.
This is true for your laptop also.

I would think that if you were going to randomly necro a four-year-old thread, you'd at least read the thread and provide the information -- the PSU -- that was absolutely crucial to answering the question from four years ago in the first place.

In any case, Vivobooks are laptops and that's a laptop CPU, so if we're talking a laptop, an upgrade isn't going to happen. And if we're talking a different desktop PC, then provide the details about the desktop PC appropriately in it's own thread, because this is not the same question.
