is it ok to keep cool n quiet on my fx 6300 overclocked?

i have cool n quiet on my fx 6300 at 4.5ghz and its working great, but i heard its better to turn it off or it doesnt matter? it basically lowers voltage and ghz on idle

If it's stable leave it alone , I have mine turned off on my FX8350's.

oh ok it basically lowers voltage to 1.392 when im not gaming with a low ghz, then under load such as prime95 or a game it goes to 1.43v and 4.5ghz which i set. thats cool n quiet responsible right?
