I would like to know that if it is posible to install the cpu that is faster than the M/B supported.
The story is i got the old cpu from my friend that is AMD athlon 1.3Ghz but my mother A7V is support MAX only 1Ghz.
Therefore, if i put 1.3Ghz on A7V what's gonna happen to my M/B. And what i have to set in the bios in order to make it work.
please let me know

As long as the processor runs on the same bus speed as the boards max, you should be fine. At most you would need to update the BIOS and ensure the multipliers are set correctly.
Toms Hardware Guide even has a HTML that provides step-by-steps on how to get your board to run CPU's above the 1ghz range.

for the multipliers, i can not find the option to change the multipier for a7v. I found only the FSB setting only. By the way, on my M/B I use the JUMPER Free MODE.
Also if i do set the dip switch manual, the max of multiplier is only 1Ghz (10X)
what i have to do in to set multiplier for 1.3Ghz.
thanks again
