I currently have a Thimphu-K motherboard made by HP. I want to add a Samsung SSD 980 but I don't think it is possible. Is there a way or is it just not compatible with this type of motherboard?

Here's a pic of the motherboard:

I now kinda understand(will go more in-depth) It's an HP Omen Pc with an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700 CPU, 32 Gb ram, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070, 1 Tb hard drive
Looks like this:

I'm not sure what you mean by what is it used for but I wanna put a Samsung SSD 980 to make stuff open quicker; the problem with the M.2 SSD socket though is that the way it's built the graphics card covers it:

is the only way to remove the graphics card and put it back after?(the image can't be shown for some reason)
