Question Is it possible to overclock with my setup?

The thing is, "Cooler Power" is probably a small brand. Small brands, especially with cheap power supplies, don't always rate their PSUs for continuous load, only peak loads.

Check this:

The max combined says 648W on the 12V rails, which isn't 750W, but still more than the 400-450ish that I expected. You should be able to overclock with your power supply, yes. It also has no actual 80 PLUS rating, only a self-proclaimed 85% effieciency rating.

You said your GPU isn't getting enough power. What are you basing that on?

Thanks, well i have tried to overclock my GPU but unfortunately when i get into a game and play for about a min or 2 my screen goes black and i am left to shutting down my computer from the power button. I've set the core clock and memory clock below normal but still get similar results, the only thing that changes is that i can be in the game for longer without it crashing but at the same time i'm losing lots of performance. I'm guessing its not receiving the recommended amount of power it needs.
