Is it possible to read a USB port?

I am currently trying to make a microphone that doesn't require a full blown computer with drivers to use, so i'm trying to use an arduino board as the pass through converting the digital signal to analog, for easier transmission. My question is how can I find the output of the microphone (its a blue yeti) in order to interpret, and convert it? This may not be the correct section to post it under, but I believe that this is a windows 10 question, given that I must read the usb port.

No it is not possible, the USB slot acts as a reader and therefore there is nothing to read on the reader.
