Here's my question atm I am broke and not able to buy more coolant for my loop is it safe to add distilled water into the loop and mix it with the coolant that is already in the loop.

Yeah getting the coolant isn't a problem it'll be like 2 weeks before i can but atm I'm low on coolant and don't want the motor to burn up. That's why I asked if it was safe to add some water to the coolant for the mean while tell I can buy more coolant.

Researching a little bit more, it might (MIGHT) leave residue when it's gone, so if it's only 2 weeks, I suggest you to not use or at least not that much your computer. We don't want to risk it, water cooling systems are expensive .
So yeah kinda avoid using it until you can buy some specific coolant, drain the one you have and then put the new one.

I get what you mean but the coolant levels are already really low and dont wanna take the chance of burning up the motor thats why I asked if it would be safe to add alittle bit of water to get the through the 2 weeks.

Of course you could, and it will work, but honestly, depending on the purity of that distilled water, I might leave residue. I really recommend you to just not use the computer for that time, it's better than McGiver solutions, brother
Two weeks will go on fast. Turn off the PC until you have that coolant

Go ahead and add the distilled water it is probably the raw base for all the coolant additives anyway, just don't add anything else at all just the distilled water!

Do not add a silver kill coil or any other additives to the coolant, that is important!

Because the coolant you are adding to already has that protection in it, so just top off with a neutral element, distilled water.

I run distilled water in both my radiator cooling loop and my chilled water cooling loop, both are all copper loops, so I run 100% pure steam distilled water (with zero additives in the water, read the label!), and since I run all copper I only add PT-Nuke IE: Copper Sulfate, 1 drop per 1L.

Been running that as coolant for well over 3 years, I have flushed and inspected the loops at least once a year in that time, with no problems at all!

Here are my credentials!
