So my Acer Nitro 5, 3070ti, i7-12650H laptop is locked so I cant do undervolting :( It <1 yrs old and reaches 90 from beginning while playing games.. I want to extend its life so the only option I have left is to lower TDP.
I don't want to turn off turbo-boost as at 25W TDP it maintains a solid 3100 mHz and 70-85 temp. On yt and other sources people generally go for 35 or above.. So I was wondering if it is safe to go as low as 25W or not.

No one has ever hurt their CPU by limiting it to less power than the Intel rated TDP.

extend its life
Your CPU will live longer than you no matter what power you choose to run it at. Do you really want to be using the same laptop 10 or 20 years from now? Probably not.

and reaches 90
Intel has set the thermal throttling temperature to 100°C to protect your CPU against any long term damage. A peak core temperature of 90°C is a normal operating temperature for most Intel CPUs.
