[SOLVED] Is it safe to keep an External Hard Drive close to a Woofer?

Solution
The drive itself can't be damaged by speaker magnets, it's the data that on it you need only be concerned with.

My subwoofer measures 12 x 7 x 6 inches, I've had an upright Hitachi external HDD parked right next to it (almost touching it) for over 6 years and never lost any data from it. Mind you, I don't have to be too worried anyway because I keep all my data backed up in triplicate (three external hard drives) and the other two are nowhere near a speaker.
