Is it time for an upgrade?

I am wondering if I need to upgrade or what I need to do, since I am not able to play the new Hitman Absolute and Medal of Honor game. In the past it has played all games with no problem and plays the new NFS great. I reformatted the computer and did a fresh install of both games…Still nothing. I click on the game, it attempts to load and then kicks me back to the Desktop screen.

My current system
AMD Phenom 8650 Triple-Core
Asus 3Ma78-Em MOBO
8gig of memory
Radeon 5670 Video Card
Windows 7, 32bit

windows7 32bit only recognizes upto 4gb of RAM..anything more than that will not be made use of in a 32bit system..it will hamper the performance of your pc but you still need to upgrade the rest of your pc if you want to run any of the recent games.

Well, without trying to start a flaming war and given what you want to do, I'd say that yes Intel would be my choice.

Intels are better, AMDs are cheaper - always been the case
Ever since the i3 Intel had both the cost and speed advantage

Unless AMD have at last optimised the FX series and you now get acceptable performance from them
