It's still the case where one idiot like yourself asks a stupid question (which if you were so smart you wouldn't have needed to ask in the first place), and people make snide comments about your ignorance.
Seems about right, and keeps the riff-raff under control.
Should you upgrade your R9800Pro, sure Put and R9800XT in it, and then in 3 weeks replace that with and R420 and then replace that with an NV40 and then replace that with each refresh until you feel you've learned enough to not have to ask such stoOopid questions.

I can see it hasn’t change. I don’t think I’m an idiot for asking a simple question. Ever hear there is no stupid question, but stupid not to ask the question in the first place, know how you learn things, by asking question. Yet, it is stupid of me to ask is it time to upgrade my video card, because I rather go straight to the source and find out and save my time doing a lot of searching and coming up with my owe conclusion, where a simply question in the right place can save me a lot of lag work, so see fool I am wise. I’m no longer a geek freak that feels the need to read everything that is written about a graphics card or how fast my computer can boot up. **** I ask the question and get hit by another question, upgrade to what, duh, that’s what I’m asking. I get a few immature responses, but hay your all are just kids, so let’s just be silly. A couple legit responses, and then a couple off the wall responses, just like your silly response that show’s me you people have nothing better to do with your time and the only reason I’m responding back is, because I want to tell you what a punk I think you are, lol.

Of course others must bear the burden because you're unable (or you claim unwilling) to do the research yourself. But why bother asking the kids when you're so much better than them in the first place? Why would you trust the opinions of all these punks? Your circular-logic simply proves that regardless of your implied maturity, your wisdom is stunted in comparison.
And DH is right, a Dell would suit you best, then you wouldn't need to do any of your own research and you could simply ask them what you should upgrade to. Thereby not wasting our time, and saving you the effort of edjucating yourself, OLD 'man'.

That would be about right. If you don't want to take the effort to find out for yourself why should anyone do it for you? The search feature in THGC is very simple to use, and Google is even easier. But obviously it's not idiot-proof.

I had a Ti4200 up until last fall, and even games like Call of Duty barely ever dipped below 25 FPS; it was the best graphics cards I ever owned, and stability of the Detonator Drivers was an absolute pleasure. With the exception of Far Cry, I have yet to fully appreciate my 9800 Pro, but hopefully will all change when the big titles hit the market.

Tell you what, I’ll give you a 1,000 points, oh boy do you feel good now, you should be proud, lol. Going to pick on my language, going to judge me by my language. Of course you had no time to do the proper search or even prparation of your thread to get your answer, yet you are willing to spend more time bitching about the answers. It's almost Ironic really.
As for better things to do, there are so many, but some of them are simply so fun and rewarding that it simply makes them all the more entertaining for the rest of us. And after a weekend of skiing I'm sure my time is well managed, although you have only left me with about 45 minutes I can spend reading other mindless posts from mental midgets. So much acts like a computer. Then if we can only use our old computer(400mhz or above) to emulate the function the the current video card. Then everyone could afford ultimate gaming.....of course, the driver from nvidia and ati has to be open source or otherwise everything has to be built from sratch.

I for one get pissed off with people posting dumb, short posts that push more meaningful, intelligent and useful posts way down the pages, thus making it less likely for me to see them, as I have only so much time to spend on these forums.
When someone starts a thread that asks a question that has been: answered before, covered in the FAQ, shows no degree of research and has no interesting content then it's bound to be mocked. Firstly becuase it helps to keep sane those forum users with more intelligence, and secondly, because it might actually help prevent others who may be new to the forums mimicking such appalling posts.
And finally, unless a moderator decides otherwise, people are pretty much free to say what they like in their own posts. Intrinsically, a joke or wisecrack can be considered of no less value to any other post.
