Good Afternoon (from where i am)

i'm coming up to a quandary, i currently have 2 perfectly nice monitors,
1: AOC AGON AG241QX (24 2k 144hz)
2: ASUS PREDATOR xb271HK (27 4k 60hz)

a ryzen 5 5600X

I am currently waiting for the 4000 series of GPU s and am very interested in the new Samsung odyssey Neo G8 and the slightly older alienware QD-oled 2k monitor.
i am unsure whether it is worth it or not to get the new monitor, im not much into FPS comp game(although i sometimes dabble casually) , im mostly into cinematic experiences these days, so pure image quality and contrast is my sole preference though high refresh rate is a nice bonus.

im fairly sure my cpu wont be bottle necked too harshly, so it should be fine.

my question is, would the high cost of such a monitor be worth the cost or should i save up for a better monitor at a later date?

Thanks in adavnce

A really personal thing in your case. Think you said it right here,

i currently have 2 perfectly nice monitors,
1: AOC AGON AG241QX (24 2k 144hz)
2: ASUS PREDATOR xb271HK (27 4k 60hz)
With that in mind would i just use what i have, but as said it's very personal. IPS is an incentive to get an upgrade for a better color reproduction though. I use an Asus MG278Q which is years old but still looks very nice to me.
Would be nice if you had a hardware store nearby where you could look at the differences between TN and IPS. Maybe some videos will show them, you just would have to google for those.

With resolutions used i also see really no bottleneck in the cpu you use.
