[SOLVED] Is it worth upgrading my 1650 super to 1070ti?

Big difference yes, 1070Ti all the way if price is fair. Can your system take the extra power draw though?

What is the make and model of the power supply? Nvidia recommended 500 watts for that card. It may very well be fine but you are cutting close to the limit.

500W is recommended PSU for Nvidia reference card (uses up to 180W).
Asus Rog STRIX GTX 1070 ti can use up to 300W - significantly overclocked model. 650W PSU is recommended here. 450W will not cut it.

Yeah, go with a Seasonic or similar high quality psu 650w is plenty. I'd upgrade that before anything else.

It depends on the price. A 3060 would be a great upgrade but not at 200-400 over msrp

The 1650 super btw is no match for the 1070ti even though the 1070ti is older.

As far as the 3060, one would be nice, but for me personally, I game at 1080p 144hz and my gtx 1070 is doing good for now. I would like to have an rtx 3060 or 3060ti I think, but I've got good enough performance until prices level out.
