Is it worth upgrading old desktop? Please see specs

I have an old computer (I will say more than 6-7 years old) and I've been looking into replacing it with a Dell inspiron 15 7000 series (the 4K screen one), the old computer still works but it's a bit slow so I'm wondering if it's worth trying to give it a new life or just replace it, the specs are:

Motherboard: Asus P5QL PRO
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo
7gb RAM
Geforce gtx 670 for graphics
1TB harddrive (this one is new)
Corsair CX750M power supply (this is also new)


If replacing it is the best option, how much could I ask for it?

Not many CPU upgrade options, uses DDR2 RAM, has PCIe 2.0.

I would get the Inspiron
