so i bought a new system year ago an im pretty happy with it except for gpu.
it was overheating right out of the box since 1st day and i was told that my case's airflow is the problem but after buying a good case with 2 fans in front and 2 fans on top exhausting the air but the temperature's are still <Mod Edit>. so i want change the thermal paste and pads for my gpu.
i did some investigation and found out that kingpin kpx is pretty good but i want know your opinion on this and whcih pads i should buy cuz i heard that very thick or very thin pads make even more problems.
My GPU : asus dual gtx 1660ti

Too thin means an air gap, too thick means worse transfer. Literally as thin as is necessary to make contact is the ideal thermal pad.

ASUS Dual is fairly low end. Probably just not an adequate heatsink for the load, would be better off spending your money on a superior cooler. Or setting a lower power limit to prevent the card from getting that hot.

Could just be bad thermal compound though, the pads should really only be on the memory and VRMs, they are probably fine to re-use.
