Is my Asus GTX 780 compatible with this mobo?

I have the Asus GTX 780 Direct CUII OC and the msi-z87-g45 gaming motherboard, both still in the box. I heard the dragon cooling of the mobo gets in the way of the asus gtx 780. Please help me I must know before I build my pc

It does not block the card it is low enough so a GPU card passes over it! It will work fine.
