I still haven't been able to enter my BIOS even though I'm posting and the ASUS splash screen comes up saying press delete to enter the BIOS. I just contacted ASUS support and the guy said it sounds like I have a broken BIOS chip and to get a replacement board. I really don't want to do it as this is my first build and it has taken me hours to do. It also seems to be cursed as this is like the 5th problem I've run into. I don't think my BIOS chip is broken though since I do get the splash screen and when I press delete instead of going to the BIOS it just goes to the American Megatrends screen, it also is able to recognize what cpu, ram, hdd, and cd rom i have installed. I am real close to throwing my build out the window so help would be greatly appreciated. Also the reason I need to get into my BIOS is so I can set up my boot priority and load windows since it isn't doing it automatically.

Update: Well it was not a good day went to SWS to get a replacement board and they were out of ALL FM2 boards, none were even left on the display. Then it got worse by them saying they've already ordered two of my board type but they most likely won't be here till Tuesday, but hopefully will be there Monday. I swear this build is cursed this is the 6th problem I've ran into with it. Fml now I just realized I've got to get the thermal paste off 🙁

The SWS and ASUS guy said they knew this was possible but had never encountered it and that it isn't only specific to this board. They also said that this board may have been either a show or prototype board that slipped into the production line somehow. But oh well all I can do is wait :/

Update: Got the new board yesterday but when I got home after a swim meet I was to tired so I waited till this morning. Well I built it about 20 minutes ago and have turned it on about 10 times and the same damn thing is happening. But I'm asking if in my haste to build it I missed something.

Update 2: Well i got it working today after I went to my grandparents and used there outlets because when I went to the store thinking I had a bad part they plugged it in and it worked fine so I got home thinking I had a bad outlet but I tried every outlet and power strip available to me and nothing worked but I went to my grandparents today unplugged everything from the back other thatn power and my hdmi and it started loading windows...still don't know if I can enter BIOS though

I need help again I can't download directx whenever I try it says "Setup could not download the file. Please retry later or check network connection."
I have also noticed ithat when it update razer synapse 2.0 it stops at about 25% and says no files could be loaded in a text box that pops up

Kind of weird but I had to scavenge and find two old games that were disc based ( Call of duty WAW and BFBC2 ) and they were able to install the directx version i needed. Now i just have two problems to sort I can not get text to not seem blurry even though i've tried every possible troubleshoot that I know of and I still can not enter my BIOS which I really need to do as I have a AMD A10 5800k at 3.8 ghz and i need it to run at a goal of 4.2 ghz as this will give me a 5-7 fps increase and I need to also oc my ram because it is rated for 1866 but since 1866 is considered an overclcok by my motherboard it's set to 1600 which slows down the gpu in my apu like crazy like 5-30 fps depending on what game I'm playing older games such as CSS will see that 30 ish fps gain where as new games like BF3 will only see a 7 fps gain from a change in ram frquency but still a good 14 fps gain is huge and I would very much like to enter the BIOS it seems as though my keyboard shorts it when it's about to enter the BIOS i've also tried an old PS2 keyboard and it does the same thing but when i brought to the store a few days ago to see what part i needed replaced they were able to enter the BIOS just fine.

Ok well Update 4 a few months later lol.....well my system has been running strong with no hiccups or blue screens/crashes at all. However somewhere I posted that I couldn't get my screen to display 1080p it would only display 1080i and today I was able to fix it thanks to a game called prison architect. I had this problem where it wouldn't display in full screen and I couldn't change any settings, so I took one last attempt at changing my screen resolution and noticed the advanced settings button and then went into list all my modes and realized it was set default to display in 1920x1080 at 30 hertz and I thought that was odd so I changed it to display in 1920x1080 at 60 hertz and it not only fixed my full screen issue but now displays at 1080p all the time! However I do still have the bios issue and I am unable to enter it. I think it might be my keyboard though because I have moved into a new house and it still doesn't allow me to enter the BIOS. But when I tried with the PS2 keyboard again I still had no luck.
