Hi everyone. I would like to know if my computer is compatible with the NVIDIA GTX 960 2 GB GPU.

CPU: AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHZ
Motherboard: ASRock 960GM-VGS3 FX
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 660 2GB
RAM: 8GB DDR3
HDD: Seagate 1TB
PSU: FSP 500W

The 960 requires at least 400W, according to the NVIDIA website. So that should be fine. I'm not sure if the CPU is compatible, though. There could be other incompatibilities too. Thanks for any answers to this question. :)

Solution
Yes it is comppatible but the FSP brand doesnt sound very good... Chinese psu's ike unknown brands deliver MUCH less W than that they say or they can burn your pc or even explode 😀 so if your PC shuts down while having the 960 under load that means that you need a better psu

Also your mb has PCI 2.0 slot so you will have less fps than having it to a motherboard with a pci 3.0 x16 slot 😉

Ah, I see. I didn't think about that. Thanks for the info. :) Do you have any recommendations for a MB with a PCI 3.0 slot that could be compatible? I don't know much about motherboards. If you don't have any recommendations that's fine, I'm just thankful for the information.

And yeah, I suppose I should look into a CPU from a more known brand. :)
