Hi, I just bought a Video Card a 2 months ago since my older one went bad, also replaced my PSU for a GS600 corsair, I have an I5 2500K 6GB Rams, HD 7870 and I've been having the following issues:

The computer worked just fine the first few weeks after having a nightmare with the older Graphic Card and PSU but then When I played a few games and minimizing/maximizing them the computer would freeze, give BSOD or crash and shutdown randomly, stopped doing that when I switched to windowed fullscreen mode, but the last few days I'm having the same issues with some games, and I've always have the same system logs:

ACPI thermal zone ACPI\ThermalZone\TZ01 has been enumerated.
_PSV = 372K
_TC1 = 1
_TC2 = 5
_TSP = 1000ms
_AC0 = 0K
_AC1 = 0K
_AC2 = 0K
_AC3 = 0K
_AC4 = 0K
_AC5 = 0K
_AC6 = 0K
_AC7 = 0K
_AC8 = 0K
_AC9 = 0K
_CRT = 372K
_HOT = 0K
_PSL - see event data.

and Processor 0 in group 0 exposes the following:

3 idle state(s)
16 performance state(s)
0 throttle state(s) (this one is the same for all the 4 cores) Temps according to CPUID HW monitor are 40°Idle and 77° Max on full load.

what is it? need help please, can't seem to get this PC working just fine since like a year.

Vnxc has you on the right path. Check this Tom's link for redoing thermal paste and reseating/installing the cooler;
http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/333968-28-thermal-paste-removal-installation-guide

Also a link on installing a stock intel cooler; The last part is the big point of the article: if it isn't properly seated there will be heat issues.

For monitoring try HWInfo (http://www.hwinfo.com/download.php) and check your BIOS monitoring.

From a quick search.
Something is over heating: the first _PSV value is the CPU temperature cut off at 372k which is 372 degree Kelvin or 98.85 degrees C so hot. The computer shuts itself down at this value to save itself.
Either it is overheating or the Bios trigger is set to low or is glitched. Check the value in the BIOS. Try updating the BIOS/Drivers.
If it is very hot inside the case think about adding some extra cooling.
Check and clean your Graphic card Fans reseat them and as well as clean the contacts.
Also clean the CPU fan/heat sink as well and if possible keep the cabinet doors open to see if that helps.
Another cause might be inferior thermal paste.
