Hi there!
I just had a Solid Colored screen (brownish) and I couldnt do anything, so I had to hard reset. After the reboot, it was this time an all black screen so I did a reset again. Windows tried to fix this problem and after this happened it succesfully booted only 1 minute later I got a solid blue colored screen (again no error messages).
First thing I did was a fresh Windows installation and installed the latest Nvidia driver, all seemed fine after this until I tried benchmarking my GPU with Heaven. It ran all smooth for like 20 seconds but it was then followed by again a Brown Solid Colored screen.
My PSU died 2 weeks ago and I replaced it with a brand new SeaSonic Platinum 750 Watt. So I seriously doubt my PSU would be the problem.
The GPU I currently use is a GTX 780 (about 5 years old), I was checking the temperatures and it was around 40 celsius when I looked at it while Heaven was running, so overheating does not seem to be the problem (the 2 fans on the GPU also worked). Could it be that it is time to replace my GPU?
Appreciate any help!
Peter
EDIT: After starting it up I get a Black Screen without anything happening. So I assume since its a fresh install I can rule out software problems, so it is a hardware problem?
