Hi,

I'm looking for the input of other RX 570 owners, but feel free to voice your opinion on this.

When playing the Witcher 3, my GPU temps reach 77 C. However, on other games, it does not reach temps this high.

My fans are also running at 80% at this temperature, which is a bit concerning to me.

I know AMD's card are known to run hot, but it's kind of surprising that only one game pushes the temps this far. Other games make my card stay at 70 C on average.

But I really want to know: is 77 C safe for an RX 570?

Solution
Anything below 80 C is great. Even low 80s are fine, if you find the fan noise loud and want to lower it a bit. Also, look into undervolting your card. This will help with temps and fan speed.

Agree with TJ Hooker answer anything below 80 C is good you have to worry after 80 C.

Yes undervolting helps alot. My gpu used to run very hot, but now I undervolted from 1150mV to 1050 and my gpu clock speeds stock. Then it ran about 70-75C on 60% fan speed.

77C is safe but using a program such as MSI Afterburner you can create a custom fan curve to put the fans at 100% by 75C or 70C if you'd like to keep the card a bit cooler.
my 570 8gb stays at 1641 fan speed all the time, up to 70c never getting loud or ramping up. what can cause this? please help.
