Is my i5 3570k able to support the gtx 1060

I have a i5 3570k and im unsure that the Gtx 1060 6gb will Bottleneck my cpu?

what if i overclocked my cpu from 3.8 to 4.2 would it make a difference in performance with the gtx 1060?

Yes, it should. Just get the 1060, it's getting paired with a lot weaker CPU's and does just fine.
