I wanna get a
250GB Kingston A2000 M.2 (2280) is it compatible with my motherboard? AsusTek COMPUTERS INC. GL12CP I m kinda new and I dont wanna waste some bucks! Or Does it have a M2 slot? If not what should I buy? (SSD must have 200-240 max GB) Thank you!

Yes, a 2.5" SATA model would be absolutely compatible.

It has M.2 slots but I don't know if there are any limitations as there are several models and only SOME allow an NVMe M.2, while others will only support a SATA M.2 according to the spec HERE.

From other similar posts here on TH, I suspect that your motherboard will not support NVMe but only SATA M.2, which is IMO pointless over a 2.5" SATA SSD.

What WILL work?
A 2.5" SATA III SSD.
Samsung 860 EVO or Crucial MX500.
