I'm getting a MSI 1070 Gaming X graphic card, but im not sure if my motherboard is compatible, so I'm wondering if my motherboard is compatible with that graphic card.

Almost all GPUs are compatible with new motherboards. If your motherboard has a PCIe Express 16x slot (which it probably has) then it is compatible.
