I have an m4n98td evo mother board and I want to ugrade my phenom 2 x6 process to an fx x8 processor. Is my motherboard compatible with this? Thanks

Don't bother. At best its a sidegrade. The PhIIx6 is faster then the FX x8 in most tasts. (unless all you do is convert video...)
