Is my PC still good for gaming?

I recently built a computer using used parts, I found great deals on like new or brand new items on eBay. I love the computer so for but mainly build it for gaming. I have had this nagging feeling that it isn't that good anymore in 2018 and would like others opinions, the specs go as follows.

i7 4960x oced to 4.6ghz
GTX 980 ti Kingpin at stock
16gb ram at 1600mhz
Asus sabertooth x79

Would you recommend upgrading or keep what I have. Thanks.

It will run most things at 1080P just fine, IMO...

Certainly last you through the next CPU and GPU product cycles this year to see what's coming, and you can choose when/if to upgrade at a leisurely pace...

Unless you want to do 4k 60fps gaming at higher settings this machine is more than fine.
