Is My Power Cupply Compatible?

Hey, so my current power supply is an Apevia Venus Power Series 500 watts (VN500W). I have the power supply from a computer I bought, but I'm currently upgrading it. I am upgrading it to a Ryzen with the mobo and ram to match.
As a result, I wanted to know if the VN500W power supply is compatible
with the Ryzen 3 and the b350m I have.
I did refer to pcpartpicker but I couldn't find the right model of the Power supply, so I was wondering if anyone knew

Thats a very poor quality PSU and should be replaced asap.

Secondly, yeah I know it sucks but I just bought a cpu with RAM which is expensive.
But I was wondering if it is compatible so I can use that power supply as a stand in

The power supply is the most important part of a PC. A junk power supply can't stand in for a good power supply any more than a banana can temporarily replace your smoke detectors.

I think that analogy is brutal to me D; A banana definitely cannot be a smoke detector but a bad power supply is a power supply nevertheless

Trust me, ik it sucks. But what I'm getting at is if it can work with what I have so I can buy a new one soon? (Also I'm fairly new to pcs and 500w is still good for the system I am going to upgrade it to)

The job of a power supply is to provide *safe, clean* power to components. A garbage power supply doesn't do that; it's a cube of scrap metal dishonestly called a power supply. A banana would make a superior power supply than your power supply because it won't fry or slowly damage your components. Your PC remains safely "off" in this scenario.

It's OK. Well below top tier, but it's a legitimate power supply and a galaxy better than your current power supply-shaped object.
