Is my processor temperature ok??

at idle that is within avg 7% load temperature is avg 40degree Celcius.
at35-40% load temperature is within 56-58 degree celcius.
I live in India. and its summer now.
Is the temperature is ok? or I need to worry???
plz tell me if anything is wrong. Advance thanks.

well im not saying its bad, i just followed the advise from other people on here, ive just been told that stock coolers arn't the best thing to use for gaming and yes the temp will drop considerably once you've stopped playing the game, but its the peak temps that can cause damage while your actually in the game, but if u want to take the risk of using a stock cooler then do it

yes I will buy a after market cooler when I will be able. At the time being I want to sure of, that my processor have no problem. I'm thinking if the processor have problem thats why its generating that amount of heat or it is normal for stock cooler....

anyway its upto you im just trying to advise you the best way, to me i prefer not to use the stock coolers because i think use bigger coolers will keep my processor at a safe temp, and increase its running life in the future. Running on boarderline temperatures is just a risk id never take, and yes if u carry on doing that it may not burn out straight away like with an amd cpu, but it will start to work less efficiently in the future and may die out

if you think about it and you were working for intel would you be bothered about the life of the cpu?, if it was me id want it to get less efficient and last less time so id get more customers coming back 😉

no i wouldnt say its normal and i cant say its safe tbh but you should be ok for now but i would keep a close eye on it!, just dont let it go over 65 in idle

in idle its always within 45degree, idle means within 7-10% load. Actually I applied thermal compound first time. So I was thinking if I have done wrong anything and so its generating that heat. In past I didnt bothered about heat so not checked that much. Thank you friend for helping me. I will buy a aftermarket heat sink asap. Thanks to all.

yes I will. So you think for stock cooler the temperature that is in idle (within 7-10% load) the temp 43-45degree celcius, in 35-40% load 56-58degree celcius & in gaming 61-65degree celcius is normal??? right??? & my processor have no problem right??

well i would say its a bit to high but should be ok aslong as you dont use your pc for anything to intensive, just keep what you do with it to a minimum if you can till you get a better cooler, i wouldn't play games with it thats for sure not till getting an aftermarket cooler.

I don't see him saying 80 C in any of his posts.

Idling at 40 ish is higher than what I would allow it, but it's nothing to worry about. If he is able to stay under 75C while running games in hot summer days, then there is no problem.

future improvements to cooling are needed for gaming and I think that the majority of people would advise like me that a stock cooler is not advised for gaming especially for long periods of time!!

In my opinion it is okay and is within the safe range. If you want to be extra safe get an aftermarket CPU cooler.
