Hey guys!

I've been told my PSU is just about able to power my system and that I should upgrade. It's gotten me a little bit paranoid. I'm posting here to get some advice on whether I need to upgrade it or not from you good knowledgeable folks.

Here is my PC Specs:
•AMD Fx8350 (motherboard auto-overclock to 4.3ghz)
•AMD R9 290 reference (sometimes overclock to 1100mhz core clock and 1300mhz memory clock)
•Asus 990fx R2.0 motherboard
•Samsug 840 EVO PRO SSD
•Some old ass 500gb HDD
•1TB WD HDD

My PSU is:
Seasonic G-Series 650w.

Am I right to be paranoid or will this PSU continue working with no problems for me?

Thanks for the reply! And thanks to the above too!

I'm delighted with that. I was told my so called tech people that I was on the very edge with my PSU and that I should upgrade ASAP :fou:

I'll be sure to come here to ask about a PSU when I finally decide to go for a crossfire config! Thanks!

No problem :)

Your ACTUAL system power consumption max should be around 580w, from the top of my head guess.
