[SOLVED] Is my psu good?

Solution
You've a pretty decent gaming system going on there. Nice and punchy for 1080p high hz (game dependent)

Given the PSU is 5 yrs old, and is already just an okay unit, IMO, it's defo time for an upgrade. As is your system doesn't need more than a decent 550w PSU. A Corsair TXM/RMX/RMi, Seasonic Focus Plus Gold, EVGA G2/G3 550w would all be great buys, come with a 7-10 year warranty, and last you through builds.
I know it can support everything my pc easily, but is it the type of power supply to blow up easily? I've been using it for a few years, and have go e through multiple pc upgrades, and have been completely fine with, but after my house burned down a while back I've been really paranoid about everythng.

Hey there,

Well, how old is it. Although it's not the worst PSU for the price, it's nothing fantastic. It won't fry your system, but if it's more than 3 years old, it would be worth looking at an upgrade. You can get some really good solid Gold units for good price right now.

What are your PC specs? This is more important. The PSU maybe weak for your system, so it might need a replacement anyway,

Would be bad to wait a little while, because I don't have money right now. How long would you say I could possibly wait? I don't plan on turning my pc on until I get the new psu anyways.
