Hi so basically I recently invested in a new pc in which I recieved a rtx 4060 single fan gpu, now when playing games at full load for example palworld atm my gpu goes around 75c to 80c at around 65 percent fan speed now I have cranked it up to 100 percent letting the temps go to about 70c but it’s just to loud. So my question is is 75c to 80c to hot while gaming for a lot of hours? Thanks

its fine. the GPU got it under control, it throttles when temps are too high, preventing itself from being cooked.

75-80c is hot, but a couple hours of gaming on that won't damage any component.

changing the fan curve and speed manually could make the temps go higher, but you also mentioned the fans are loud, thus have to be stepped down.

is the case's airflow reasonably good? temps could be lowered a bit w/ a good case w/ good airflow.

No, Nvidia states maintaining 83c would be fine constantly, but i would suggest 80C to be your limit since 6-7 hours of gaming would be quite toasty. Nvidia even states temporarily going for 90c is also fine, but for now, keep 80c as your threshold and adjust cooling accordingly, just to be on the safe side :)

Probably best to not try to micromanage gpu temperatures.
A modern gpu does run hot, but it is designed to do so.
The gpu will target a temperature, commonly around 80c. and try to perform as well as it can while maintaining that temperature.
