Just got a Gigabyte RTX 2080 Windforce, not the OC version.
No any attempt of OC done.
The official specification tells it runs at 1710Mhz but HWmonitor detected it at around 1800Mhz.
Reference score on PassMark - G3D Mark is 15594 but when I run passmark myself the result is around 1488x. Not a big difference I guess but still I hope for better since this is a quite expensive card and of a model that is supposed to be "improved" by Gigabyte.
Do you guys think the score shown is normal or there is something wrong?

Other parts of the rig: (Although they don't matter much, right?)
Asus Z170 Pro-gaming
I7-6700k @ 4.6Ghz
Crucial Ballistix 2400Mhz 8Gb x 3 (24Gb, It was 32 Gb but one of the module is broken)
HP EX920 M.2 SSD 1Tb
Evga Supernova 750 P2

Thank you guys.

I'd say you're golden! Though your specs aren't. You should've gone with DDR4-3200MHz rams. They do actually matter. Overclocking the CPU, ram can help pick up your score but that is just it, a score. If you're fine with the eye candy in games, you're fine.

Right. Thank you for the suggestions.
That extra 8gb ram does help me to host memory demanding game server for my buddies.
But I will try to do test with that widow ram unplugged.

I am lazy to open my rig so I just disabled one of the channel of the ram in BIOS. (I guess it does the same effect as removing it, rrright?)
Sadly the score doesn't improve at all.

Ya...as father of two I don't have much time to fiddle with my rig. If I do have, I play games with it.
Anyway I did remove that left-alone ram as you guys advise (thanks again) and ran the test again.
The immediate result was 144xx, even worse then last time. I was like "wth"...
Then I noticed the background task "nvidiacontainer" has kept occupying the GPU usage for 15-25%.
I closed it and ran the test again. I now got 159xx. I am happy now.

Yes, A2 and B2 slots.
The score has been improved to 15983 which is 500 points higher than the reference score. Very satisfying.
