I have a Samsung SSD drive with an Inateck enclosure in which I use to store files. Normally I wouldn't transfer files from HDD to SSD directly, however today I did just. My Windows laptop became unresponsive, like it couldn't handle the job of transferring files between two devices. I couldn't get anything done, everything froze. In the end, I had to yank everything out and turn off the laptop and restart it. I ran some tests on the HDD and it appears okay. However it now it appears my SSD drive has given up. It won't show up on my system and I've checked disk management. I have backups of whats on the SSD drive, but I would love not to go through all the hassle of RMA'ing it. Is there any way to get it working again?

I used a WD S.M.A.R.T tool and it couldn't detect the drive.

I've installed Samsung's own Magician tool and it can't even detect it either. So I think its probably safe to say the SSD is dead.
