Question Is Nvidia Geforce Game Ready Driver that important for light gaming (can't get it to download from site.)

Reinstalled windows, deleted the Nvidia driver app and now can't download a driver from Nvidia site. Actually I did manage to do it once the latest but it wouldn't install on PC, maybe cause it's so old: xps8300. The basic drivers are loaded in device manager. Is a 1050ti; Is kid's pc, do you think that additional driver/s make a difference? Mostly Roblox, some basic Steam games, nothing extreme. If it matters I'll keep trying, or is there another way to get it?

Glad it worked for you, eventually. There are several places that host Nvidia driver downloads. I like to get older out-dated drivers from Guru3d:
