Asus Strix 2 Nvidia GTX 960 4GDDR5 .Of course it's 4GDDR5. It suits my budget better and gives an extra 2gb VRAM. Obviously the 970 is a new arrival, but I feel like buying the 960 which boasts 4GDDR5 for the same bucks.LET'S COME TO THE POINT.
My monitor is full hd.(1080p). I especially would run Arkham Knight at ultra and Gta V. Also more recent games like Witcher, Fallout 4 , Hitman 6, Mafia 3. All at 1080p at ultra.
This is my question. Will the games from the future like Fallout 5, run at ultra at the same 1080p on both the GPUs?
Also, in order to utilise the full power of both the GPUs, would I need to buy a QHD monitor? What will happen to today's games (mentioned above)if I run everything at Ultra at QHD on both the 960 4g abd 970 2g?
Many threads I've seen just shitted 4gddr5 for the 960. Is that true ?
Suggest Me some better cards that'll satisfy the above requirements for a lesser buck.
I probably murdered Grammar. Apologies.

Solution
If you can afford the cheapest GTX 970, don't miss out. Big performance increase over the GTX 960 4GB.

Will games be playable with the GTX 960 4GB? Absolutely. Not a bad GPU at all.

All depends on your specs too. Good power supply is important.
No the 960 is a 1080p card. Any higher resolutions and you wont be getting 60 fps in games. The 960 isnt a future proof card. Its a lower end of maxwell card so wgile your ok playing now next gen games you will have to turn down some settings if you want 60fps in games.

This is it. Many games at ultra at both 1080 as well as QHD.
Which will be better, considering the fact that the 960 has 4gb and 970 with 2 GB
Consider something about futureproofing

Yeah. I'm a noob here! 🙁
Until now my budget was 19k and 960 is well within that mark.
The 970 costs 25k.
Basically for a 1080, what should I buy?
If in some case I upgrade my PC to QHD, will the same 960 be lag free?

Listen there is no such thing as a 980 with 2 gigs. ALL 980s have at least 4 gigs there is no 2 gig 980 anywhere on earth. Also A 980 is is ALWAYS better than a 960 period. IF you're saying you can get both for the same money then get the 980

Solution
Good specs with me on the processor side.

Is there any possibility of a price drop in GTX 970 in the near future?
I think NVIDIA 's Pascal will release. Will it drop GTX 's price?
