Is re-format the answer?

Something has gotten to my computer and I can't stop it from doing what it is
doing. Norton Anti Virus is catching 20-30 items with each daily scan and
can only remove a few of them. I run Adware and Spy Sweeper but they too
leave some items untouched and still on my machine. Pop ups are all over the
place especially xlime. Running normal programs seem to bog down and run
slowly.

Is re-format the answer? I wonder if backing up all my data to the spare
hard drive then doing a format on the main C drive would clean it up and let
me start anew. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

At this point, a clean install is the answer. That means permanently erasing
your hard disk and re-installing all your software.

But even that won't be of any lasting value to you unless you learn how to
keep viruses and spyware off your computer.

Yeah I think you should check out this website to download adaware program
heres the link this is a good program and it's free
Lavasoft.com try that to see if that works for.....
