Is steam available in Pakistan?

Hey guys! I am from Pakistan and looking to buy games on steam. Can anyone confirm if steam is available in a Pakistan so that I can buy games from steam directly?

i'm not really sure, but from what i heard you could connect to UAE or India server and still get low ping if you have stable and good connection

i'm playing from Jakarta Indonesia, and most of the time i connect to Singapore or Philippine server and still get 15-35 ping

When selecting country, it shows Pakistan in drop down, can you confirm if the payment could be made for the game from Pakistan?

that's for game purchases. you could practically purchase any game available on your steam shop.
it's totally different issue with where they put servers.

Steam is officially available in Pakistan many of my friends use steam to purchase games and other aftermarket add-ons.

just install steam and you can buy games from it.
but when playing multiplayer, you will be connected to whichever server it thinks fastest and nearest to you.
that's all you need to know.

So while buying, do I need to worry about any regional specifications/settings? Or should I just buy the game from steam and rest the game will do?

if asked for your regional setting then yes you should pick your region accordingly, because some games have region specific restriction.
