I'm using Dell laptop and its CPU is Intel Core i7 1065G7. When I'm using Zoom and OBS together (Zoom for streaming and OBS for recording) temperature goes 85+ celsius. One session goes up to 3 hours continuously. CPU utilisation is low but speed is maximum. Also using an external cooling fans. Is that ok?

Sometimes it reaches 100°C

I think it's fine unless you have it run at 100°C all day long.

However if you are really concerned about it, you may try to replace the CPU's thermal paste with a better one, clean the cooling assembly.

From my own experience, a high quality thermal paste could reduce the temperature by 5~8°C, supposed that the cooling fan runs normally.

Its going to throttle before it damages itself, its not great for performance, but it wont kill its self, could hurt its life span, but thats still a toss up.

I would look into getting a better cooler, dust the system out if you haven't done it in awhile, keep the temps as low as you can to the best performance, but 100C here and there I wouldn't say its unsafe, just not ideal for performance.

Good Luck
