Is the AMD Kaveri APU (A10 7850K) a good buy over an FX 8350 or an i5 4th Gen. ? Please clear my doubts....

I recently got to know that the upcoming AMD's Kaveri 7850K APU will be a pretty good buy ? Many websites are showing that it is better over the i5 4570. Also, What will be its price ? And its Integrated Graphics will be equivalent to which GPU ? I want to play Railworks 3 on 30+ FPS on Medium Settings on 800x600.
So, is this APU really a good buy ?

Amd has shown bf4 demos with the a10-7850k at med settings, avg 30+ fps. That's not 60 fps on high settings but is fine for most people. You can also add in a discreet graphics card and run dual graphics with the apu, although I haven't seen numbers for that. The richland processors didn't have as much real benefit from a discreet card though.

Also apart from running battlefield 4 at 30 fps without a discrete gpu, that is without the new mantle low level api.

Mantle is said to increase it by up to 45% so you will be able to see it running BF4 at over 40 fps once the battlefield 4 patch update is released.

Secondly, you can pair it with a Radeon R7 250 to enable dual graphics and effectively double the graphics power which in theory should enable it to run games like battlefield 4 at 60fps at 1080 p on high settings.

Lastly, the problem of frame stuttering still exists for many crossfire / dual graphics / sli card formats but there is a new software update coming in July 2014 which will supposedly fix much of this problem if not all.

My answer would be if you plan on doing dual graphics with 2 gpus being the APU A10 7850k and a Radeon r7 250, then go with the APU

BUT

If you plan on adding a single discrete graphics cards now that is beyond the R7 series and crossfire it with another R9 card in the future a year or 2 from now, then go for the more powerful cpu.

The 1 thing I am not sure about is hybrid crossfire, ie how well an APU works with a Graphics Card which is superior to it.

At 800x600 resolution the a10-7850k is more then you'll ever need in any game. If you ever plan to play at 1080p, you'll probably need a discrete gpu. Or dual graphics that a10 with a r7-250.

That said, the fx6300 or fx8320 will be better buys if you plan to get a discrete gpu.

If you already have a 6870 then don't get an APU, dual graphics doesn't work very well at all. What's your budget for an upgrade?

If you already have a 6870 then don't get an APU, dual graphics doesn't work very well at all. What's your budget for an upgrade?

My Budget is around $425 for both (CPU + Mobo)
I want to use my 6870 at best and utilize in Dual Graphics...
And I will disable if it wont work well in Dual Graphics.

Currently using 6870 with Core 2Quad 6600 with some crappy Intel board.
