Is the antistatic glove really works without wrist band ???

I got to understand that if the antistatic glove without any grounding will not work out to prevent ESD short !!!!

You do not even actually need SO Called Antistatic Wrist band.Just touch the case/cabinate before touching any Components.

An antistatic glove works because you aren't touching the component to create a path to ground. You are insulated.

I still prefer to use a method of grounding the component, such as a wrist strap, as well as being away from static sources like carpets etc.
