Hello , I just wan't to know if the AsRock 990FX Extreme 3 is a good motherboard , is it a good quality motherboard and should I buy it for this system:

PSU: Corsair GS 600

GPU: MSI GTX 660 2GB GDDR5

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 250 3,0GHz ( If I buy the AsRock 990FX extreme 3 , I will buy a new AMD FX 6300 Processor too )

RAM: Transcend 2x2GB 1333MHz

Motherboard: Biostar NF520D3

HDD: Seagate 1TB

Case:BLUEBERRY Miditower Multimedia BC-M42-520

Asus 990fx , I don't know about that , and I don't really have money to change my ram too , it's too expensive, and why should I regret buying the AsRock 990FX extreme 3?

You wont regret buying the FX 6300 over Athlon 250. Its way faster and will deliver better gaming, or editing etc. Plus if you go with a dual core Athlon recent games will just run on the edge and you'll need an upgrade sooner.

The Asrock Extreme 990FX is a ok motherboard but its power circuitry is weak compared to other boards based on the 990FX chipset.

If you do not plan to overclock too much it should hold up fine however.

Did you mean AsRock , in your first post you wrote Asus 990FX

Do you know a better board under 100 euros with 2 ps/2 ports and AM3+ socket?
