Firstly I'm not a computer wiz, so please bear with me.
I've had my computer for 4 years now with no major problems like this. Was working on the computer when it seemed to reboot itself and started running through POST. It would go through POST for 20 seconds, end on a code C1, reboot and start the whole process again. Found out this has to do with memory, so I took the Ram out (2x16GB), found no faults on them. Swapped them around and got the same issue. So now I have 2 RAM sticks, let's call them RS1 and RS2. I then put RS1 in and it booted up with no problems.(noice) Tried it with RS2, no go, would run POST for maybe 2 seconds and reboot.
The computer works now with RS1 and I can get my work done. Question is, is RS2 <deleted> faulty, can it be fixed or should I get new RAM ? And what could be the cause of a problem like this?
Hardware:
Aurus z370 motherboard
Corsair 2x16gb 3000mhz ram
